Successful football teams are the ones that give. Of themselves, of their skills, each person putting the good of the team ahead of individual accomplishments.
Because the real meaning of TEAM is Together Everyone Achieves More.
You can be a part of one of the Bay Area's fastest-growing teams, the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, and the game's continuing efforts to assist those less fortunate.
Simply donate some non-perishable food items when you come to the game on January 9. Every food donation benefits Glide Memorial Church and St. Anthony's Dining Room, the Bowl's local partners in the 'Huddle To Fight Hunger'.
Collections will take place from 3:15 to 6:30 p.m. at Willie Mays Plaza, near the O'Doul Gate, 2nd and King Streets.
Types of food most in demand include: rice & pasta, tuna, canned fruits & vegetables, canned beans, peas, soups, meats, stews & chili, peanut butter and cereal. Please, no glass containers.
Cash donations can be made inside AT&T Park at the KNBR window on the promenade level.
